Custom sport uniform / Fishing tackle
For people who love ball sports, jerseys are one of the essential equipment besides the ball. Many people or teams want to have unique jerseys with their name, number, team name, logo, etc. But how to get a jersey that is printed without fading or losing color and with high durability, the printing method is a thing that deserves everyone's attention.
Many people have heard and believe that screen printing is the best, is this really true? For people who need high volume customization and demand high quality, I think so. It takes five steps.
Step 1, Draft the design and prepare the screen
Use the design software to create the vector image file design you need, make sure the image is clear and the color is correct. And choose the right screen material and photosensitive material.
Step 2, make the stencil
Apply photosensitive emulsion on the screen, dry it and fuse the negative with the screen for exposure. After exposure, rinse with water to form the pattern.
Step 3, Printing
Select the appropriate printing ink and squeegee, place the fabric to be printed on the printing table, and use the squeegee to scrape the ink so that the ink penetrates into the fabric.
Step 4, wait for the ink to dry
Check whether the ink penetrates, control the temperature, wait for drying and then printing successfully.
Screen printing is a long history of the current printing technology, survived to this day is its reason, it prints a thicker ink layer, up to 30 microns, general washing will not make it lose color fading. It is better for clothes with high washing frequency, such as jerseys.
At the same time screen printing affordable, some printing is not easy to fall off the high-end printing technology. Screen printing low cost can meet the daily needs of the printed pattern wash-resistant, not easy to fall, suitable for mass production and customization. Can maintain long-term beauty, suitable for places that require long-term display.
There are other printing methods besides screen printing.
Heat transfer printing is also a common way of printing jerseys, but the disadvantages of heat transfer printing are more obvious. It transfers the pattern to the fabric of the jersey through heat pressing technology, and the pattern is easy to come off, which is less suitable for jerseys that are washed frequently.
Thermal transfer film transfers the pattern to the jersey through the technology of heat pressure and gas, but it has higher requirements for the material of the jersey. The jersey material must be polyester or a similar synthetic fiber.
Embroidery is a technique known in China that can be done by machine or by hand to embroider designs onto the garment, but it is more costly and fewer people choose to embroider on their jerseys.
Digital printing is the printing of designs directly onto the jersey through a printer, suitable for small quantities of customized jerseys, and can be printed at a lower quality than screen printing.
In conclusion, screen printing is suitable for people who customize jerseys in large quantities and are looking for a solid pattern. Other printing methods are also good, but the disadvantages are more obvious. People can choose the jersey printing method they need according to their needs.
